In Our Classroom This Week

Welcome back to Term 4
I hope everyone has had a fanastic holiday and is feeling nice and relaxed and ready for our final term together.

Week 1:

AUSTRALIAN ANIMALS
Our Term 4 Integrated Topic is Australian Animals. We will be learning all about mammals, including the different types of mammals like monotremes, marsupials and placentals. We will also be learning about Australian reptiles, birds, amphibians and insects. In Term 4 we will be lucky enough to go on an excursion to Healesville Santuary, where the students can see the animals up close and personal. We are all very excited for this fun day.

MATHS FOCUS
This week in maths we are extending our understandings on number patterns.

LITERACY FOCUS
In literacy we are continuing to learn about capital letters and full stops.

Our BLEND of the week is 'ob'. See if you can think of some 'ob' words.

I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow and hear all about your break.
